If you have space for another DVD drive, insert your blank DVD into it. Or else you can check if you have the provision for your single DVD drive to both read and burn DVDs. Install it so that you can copy a DVD. Another option is to copy your DVD items to your computer and then burn them from your computer. But it is definitely a more time consuming process. After you have inserted your blank DVD, click on the option which reads “Recode an entire DVD to DVD”. Make adjustments about what you want to transfer only if you have specific demands. Otherwise Nero will copy everything that is on the DVD. Follow the instructions and click on “Burn.

Here too, you first have to download and install the software. Now copy the movie or any other item that you want to copy into your computer or any other external hard drive. You can store it in your pendrive too as long as it is read by your computer. Now, insert the blank DVD and click on the option of “burn”. Wait for a time until the message in your status bar changes from Cancel to close. Once your application has been closed by the software itself, your DVD is copied. Vista enables DVD Copying

Vista allows you to copy a DVD without any external software. You have to copy your items on the DVD in your computer or insert your DVD for direct copying. You will find the DVD in the “Computer” option. Open the DVD icon and click under “Devices and Removable storage”. Now copy your items from the DVD and paste it on the blank DVD whose insertion prompt you will get. Once you have pasted it in the blank DVD, click on the option which asks you to burn the DVD. You will be asked to name your DVD. Name it if you want to or keep it untitled. The computer will give you further instructions and you just have to click “next” till you are done with the process of how to copy a DVD.
